New Social Schemes - 15 Mints Seminar Notes

What is Social Security schemes?

  • Schemes imposed and controlled by government units for the purpose of providing social benefits to members of the community as a whole or ofparticular sections of the community.
  • These schemes play a crucial role in solving many social economic problems that beset Indian society and thus they are awareness is a must for anyconcerned citizen.
  • On Feb one 2021 the finance minister of India release the union budget 2021 -22 And made new announcement regarding the government schemes in India.  In 2020 a relief package worth rupees 1.70 lacs crore was unannounced to tackle the financial difficulties which were faced due to the COVID 19 outbreak under the PM Garib KaylanYojana.This year the government has announced the Aatmanirbhar package amounting to rupees 27.1 Lac crores to deal with the impact of coronavirus.

Start up India seed fund scheme(SISFS)

  • Its aim is to provide financial assistance to start up for proof of concept proto type development, Product trails ,Market entry and commercialization.
  • On Feb fifteen 2021 Government of India made an official announcement about the approval SISS it has been approved for a period of four years and was implemented with effect from April 1 2021.

Ayushman Sahakar Scheme

  • Launched under the ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare ,the national cooperative Development Corporation NCDC on October 19 2020. Ayushman sahakaris a unique scheme to assist cooperatives to play an important role in the creation of healthcare infrastructure in the country.
  • Under this scheme NCDC would extend term loan to protective cooperatives to the tuneof Rs 10,000 crore in the coming year.

NIRVIK scheme (Niryat Rin Vikas Yojana)

  • Implemented under the export credit graduate corporation of India with a view to ease lending of loans and enhance credit availability to small scale exporters.
  • Feb 1st 2020 will boost the export segment of the Indian economy.

Mission COVID suraksha

  • Government has launched MCS a development program for Indian candidates and researchers working on the COVID-19 vaccine under this mission the government would facilitate the clinical development manufacturing and licensing of Indian vaccines to crub the virus attack.

Sahakar Mitra scheme

  • It is a summer internship program that has been flagged off by the Ministry of Agriculture and farmers welfare NCDC national cooperative Development Corporation it's responsible is to run the scheme aiming to benefit both cooperatives and young professionals.
